Flavoured Makhana: A Crunchy Twist on Traditional Foxnuts

Plain makhana is mild by nature, which is exactly why it takes seasoning so well. Flavoured makhana is simply roasted foxnuts finished with a spice blend, so the pack is ready to eat straight away.
How flavoured makhana is made
The kernels are roasted until crisp and then tossed with the seasoning so it clings evenly. Roasting first is what keeps the crunch — under-roasted makhana turns chewy once seasoning is added.
Picking a flavour
- Peri Peri — sharp, tangy heat; the most popular choice for spice lovers.
- Pudina Chatpata — cooling mint with a tangy chaat edge.
- Masala Magic — a familiar Indian spice mix, good for all-round snacking.
- Pink Salt & Pepper — the mildest option, closest to home-roasted makhana.
- BBQ Smoky Masala — smoky and slightly sweet, popular with younger snackers.
Flavoured or plain?
Keep plain raw makhana for cooking and for roasting the way you like it. Keep a flavoured pack for the times you want a snack without any preparation.
Many of our retail customers stock both, and shops usually find flavoured packs move faster at the counter.
